Week 2 (9/8-9/12)
This week in kindergarten, we explored three new word families: -aid, -ain, and -ait.
The children practiced reading and saying words that belong to each family:

-aid words like maid, paid, raid, laid

-ain words like rain, pain, main, gain
-
-ait words like bait, wait, trait
Students learned how changing just the first letter can create many different words.
On top of this we continued our reading of Gale's Cake pages 6-9.
