K3 Week 13

 Week 13 (5/5-5/8) 

Thursday April 30th

Happy Friday, everyone!

With this weekend being a four-day break, we’ll need to work a little extra hard next week due to our missed classes on Monday—but don’t worry, we’ve got this!

Next week, we’ll discover the ending to our phonics reader story “The Black Cat and the Glove” and begin Unit 8 in our Phonics book (pages 52–55), where we’ll be learning the “ar” sound.

K3 Week 12

 Week 12 (4/27-4/30) 

Friday April 24th 

We had another fun and productive week of learning in our classroom! The children have been working hard and enjoying all of our activities.

This Saturday, the 25th, we will be holding our Mother’s Day Fair. We hope to see you all there for this special event!

Next week, we will continue learning the vowel pair “oo” in our Phonics Kids 6 book. We will also keep following Mr. Plum as he searches for clues in our reader, The Black Cat and the Glove.

Hello everyone,

Week 10 is complete—yay! Now onto Week 11.

We will begin Unit 7 in our phonics book, focusing on the vowel pair “oo” (pages 44–47). We will also continue working in our phonics reader, practicing consonant blends: bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, and sl.

Another week in the books! Spring is in the air, and the weather is getting warmer. We had a short but fun week in class.

We finished Unit 5 this week in our Phonics Kids 6 book, and we also started our new phonics reader, The Black Cat and the Glove.

Next week, we will continue reading The Black Cat and the Glove, and we will begin learning the long vowel pairs “ou” and “ow.”
