K3 Phonics: February 2023

This week we are finishing our split digraph a_e. Students should be able to decode all these words.

We will also start the new phonics focus which is e_e- more on this next week.

We are also continuing into the story about Brad's Frog.

This week we will start our first decodable reader for the semester called 'Brad's Frog'.

We also continue our split vowel digraph, otherwise known as a and magic e.

Words are: sake, cake, bake, lake, name, shame, game, same, Jane, plane, cane, mane, late, date, fate, hate.

Today we are starting our new semester for K3.

Our new book is called Phonics Kids 6. Our first phonics focus will be the split vowel digraph a_e.
