Friday October 31st 

We had so much fun this week! Everyone looked amazing during our Halloween celebration day — what a wonderful time we had together!

Next week, we’ll continue reading our storybook “Mike and the Bike” and keep practicing the vowel pair “oa” on pages 38–41 in our phonics book.

Thursday October 23rd

Great work this week, students! Next week, we will continue reading our new book “Mike and the Bike” (pages 8–11). In our phonics book, we’ll complete the fourth exercise and begin learning the vowel word family “oa.”

We’ll also be celebrating Halloween on Thursday, so please look forward to some festive fun!

Great work this week, everyone! You’ve all been doing an excellent job with your reading and phonics practice.

Next week, we’ll be focusing on the word families -ead, -ean, -eat, and -eal from pages 30–33 in our phonics book. We’ll also begin our new story, “Mike and the Bike.”

 Week 7 (10/13-10/17)

Monday October 13th

Due to the back-to-back long weekends, Week 6 turned out to be a super short but very busy week! Next week, we’ll be starting our third exercise in the phonics book and introducing the vowel pair “ea.” We’ll also spend some time reviewing “Gale’s Cake” before moving on to our next story in Week 8.

K3 Week 6

 Week 6 (10/7-10/9)

Friday October 3rd

We had such a fun Week 5 together, and now we’re excited to begin Week 6! This week we’ll be finishing our story Gale’s Cake and diving deeper into our phonics book. Our focus will be on playful word pairings with -eed, -eep, and -eet. The children always enjoy spotting patterns and sounding out new words—it’s a great way to build their reading confidence!
